Aviation Independent Consulting, by Jan Willem Storm van s Gravesande, chaired a two-day Aeropodium-conference in the Cayman Islands in October 2015 on Offshore Aircraft Registration.
After opening of the Conference by the Minister for District Administration, Tourism and Transport of the Cayman Islands, 16 speakers delivered speeches on a variety of issues such as ICAO standards, the impact of EASA regulations on offshore registered aircraft based in the European Union, Air Operator Certificates, financial issues, repossession cases, tax issues and the Capetown Convention.
All speeches were followed up by a lively discussion.
