AIC was present on 20 August 2015 at the official opening of the Space Security Center at the Headquarters of the Royal Netherlands Airforce (KLu).
The Netherlands Airforce has taken the initiative to gain a better understanding of the activities in space and the possible harmful or disruptive effects that occur from space, such as effects of the sun (solar flares / bursts).
